While there are high schools all over Lumen City, Lumen Tech is in the unique position of being directly funded by its parent university. Success here is pretty much a guaranteed spot in Lumen University, making attendance both highly desirable and highly competitive. Guest lectures are common due to close proximity to the university campus, and seniors are allowed to sample select courses and clubs to help make the transition seamless.

Perhaps naming these archives after the great library of old is a little presumptuous, but the sheer sum of knowledge on display makes the fact hard to argue. The wings of these archives contain a trove of published works, accessible in book, computer, and holoslate forms. However, for many, the main attraction is the hologram museum that fills the central building. Along with the exhibits on public display, side rooms where any exhibit can be loaded in are available for rent.
