Upon Lumen City's founding, it was decided that least part of the city must stay green. This mandate was made reality with the Hologardens, an innovative blend of the natural world and the latest technology. These botanical gardens are fully holographic, allowing the exhibits to look their best year-round and be replaced without damaging the surrounding area. Nestled in these gardens are a similarly holographic zoo, generated from footage of real animals and machine learning algorithms. These allow the beauty of nature to be on full display, even in a city too big and bustling to host the real deal.

The beach isn't what one's mind immediately jumps to when visiting the city, but the shores north of Lumen City are actually surprisingly pleasant to visit. Originally, these beaches were for the private enjoyment of the Estate District's residents, but as of last year they have been opened to the general public with great fanfare. The cool, crisp air makes these beaches surprisingly popular at nights, where the usual fun in the sun gives way to cookouts, bonfires, and the occasional nighttime swim for the bold.
