Personality:
Loud, proud, and rambunctious as all hell - Ophelia is a force of nature in the form of an outgoing little cub, with plenty of curiosity to match. She's not one to be discouraged easily - and has a habit of being driven by spite and rebellion if one does try to stop her from doing what she wants without proper reason. She is the type to best learn her limits from actually testing them against everything in sight - and thus, is prone to picking fights with other willing digimon to do just that. She's a daredevil at heart, with a love for adventure and excitement, and is often seeking her next big fight or thrill.
However, even with her initial aggressive and loud demeanor, Ophelia is a good-natured cub at heart. She has a strong sense of honor and loyalty - being reluctant to fight weaker digimon, and in fact having strong protective instincts towards such digimon. She, additionally, hates bullies and bandits - often feeling inclined to 'teach them a lesson' if she catches a digimon harassing or hurting others.
On top of such, Ophelia has a surprisingly sweet and cuddly side that she tends to show during downtime - particularly when around people she trusts, or otherwise when she's tuckered out. She loves getting scritches and pets, and is happy to snuggle up to other people - even if she hasn't known them for long - as long as she feels safe around them. She actively enjoys physical affection and contact, finding it soothing and a good way to express her feelings towards others, without using words.
Deep down though, Ophelia has a bit of a perfectionist nature - wanting to constantly get stronger, to go on bigger adventures, to turn more heads, and to - most importantly - make those around her proud of her. Unless they're singing her utter praises, she constantly feels as though she has to improve on herself in some shape or form - and if Ophelia's mood is low for whatever reason, this tends to compound on it quickly. Given her general positive and rambunctious nature though, this tends to happen rarely.
Additionally, she sometimes has a hard time applying herself in hobbies beyond fighting and adventuring - lacking direction, if she isn't seeking excitement or otherwise getting stronger. Even if she has the markings to pick up more ordinary hobbies, she struggles in getting into gear and focusing on said activities - more often than not dropping them for long periods of time afterwards, whenever she attempts them. This isn't really out of any actual inability or dislike for said hobbies, though - but more that she has a hard time finding the drive for them, even if they're otherwise interesting.
Overall though, Ophelia's battle-happy but friendly nature adds up to her being a loyal friend, who'll always fight by your side if you are able to form a close bond with her. She's dedicated to protect the weak, and standing up against bullies and baddies - and she's always practicing and sparring to get better at such. Huge losses and harsh criticism can get under her skin, however - and she sometimes needs help if she'll find direction in a life beyond combat. However, she's only but a cub - a cub who is still growing and trying her best, in a great big world.
History:
Ophelia was born and raised deep in the icy mountains of the Digital World - her parents a Panjyamon and Blizzarmon, and her siblings a Gomamon-X and Strabimon.
Being the strongest of the three, she oftentimes aided in looking after her smaller siblings, and was held to high expectations by her mother - who oftentimes used tough love to drill the skills necessary for survival in the harsh climates to her children. Her father, however, was gentler in nature - and oftentimes would tell his children stories of the world beyond the mountains, having hailed from elsewhere.
Driven by these stories, and a desire to prove herself to her parents, the little Spadamon would set off into the world at large as soon as she and her siblings could care for themselves - seeking adventure and strength alike.
However, before long, rumors would soon draw her attention - whispers of other digimon crossing over to another world, of strange creatures unlike themselves, of clustered buildings and roaring machines. Excitement and curiosity would lead Ophelia to join with a few other digimon in crossing over - finding her way to Lumen City in the process, and beginning her adventures in another world.
Though shortly after crossing over into the city, she'd run afoul of an ambush by a few bandit digimon - and even as she fought, she was wholly outmatched by the group...
... At least, that was until a mysterious V-mon by the name of Valt stepped in, and fought alongside her to chase them off. Wholly impressed by the dragon's strength and experience, Ophelia would request to train under him - to which he accepted, giving her a place to stay with him and his human partner, Ryouta.
Thus, for a number of months, Ophelia has served as Valt's apprentice since; not only sparring and training with him on a regular basis, but also aiding Ryouta in his restaurant, as thanks for the shelter and food provided.
Goals:
- Ophelia wants to see everything that the human world has to offer - even though she's been here for awhile by now, there's still so much to learn and see! There's so much adventure out there, that's just waiting to be discovered!
- Valt and Ryouta are great friends and sparring partners, but Ophelia wants to meet other humans and digimon, too - be it to spar with them as well, or to simply make friends and socialize with them.
- She also desires to become stronger - not only to grow as a digimon, but also to try and make her parents and mentors proud.
