Name: Corrine "Rin" Burns Age: 20 Birthday: February 26th Gender: Female Hometown: Fairbanks, Alaska Occupation: College student/Campus office assistant Class: Tamer Digivice: Corrine's Digivice resembles that of the virtual reality headset from Cyber Sleuth-Hacker's Memory, resembling the visor worn by Keisuke. Only difference is the strap is a dark blue with white trim with a translucent arctic blue visor lens in addition to all the necessary components standard with Digivices. Digisoul: Corrine's Digisoul takes on an arctic blue digital aura, being as pale as arctic ice and resembling ice shards around her visor and snow-like effect around her body.
Appearance:
Personality: Corrine is what you would call an introvert trying to come out of her shell. Up until a few years ago, Corrine was always an extremely shy, quiet individual, your typical high school wallflower that was always content with her solitude and going unnoticed. The social outcast who didn’t talk much, kept her gaze cast down, and was (and still is for the most part) soft-spoken. An easy target to some who found herself the target of bullying for much of her younger life. Much less being a black sheep of her family of out-going extroverts.
But, slowly and gradually, this has changed. Though Corrine is still one who prefers keeping to herself and is a bit shy still, she has overcome her social awkwardness to a fair extent. She is a bit closed off around new people, but once she becomes relaxed she shows a more laid-back, easy going side not often seen in her childhood but has become more noticeable with time. She can be quite curious and prefers to be a listener over conversation, but does enjoy random talks here and there, whether she knows about the subject or not. She also has grown to not be afraid to look others in the eyes and speaks with a much more normal, if sometimes assertive, tone than she use to, but from time to time her voice can be too soft to hear. And Corrine is still one that prefers her solitude over large crowds.
Nevertheless, one should not completely underestimate the shyness that lingers. Corrine can be stubborn and determined when she sets her mind to something, and occasionally shows dry sarcasm at random intervals. She even personally remarks her humor is at its best when it’s unexpected, and may lean towards the darker sense. Regardless, Corrine is a caring, compassionate individual with a hard working attitude and slowly blossoming more into an out-going type. Not that her Digimon partner is giving her much choice in many situations…
History: Corrine’s history is exceptionally ordinary. She was born to multigenerational household, living with her single mother and grandparents in Valdez, Alaska. Before she was even a year old, Corrine’s parents had split in their first year of marriage so she never got to know her biological father. Nevertheless, her mother, Daniella, did her best for her then only daughter. The two moves to Corrine’s town of birth, Fairbanks, to a small duplex while her mother worked two jobs for accounting in hospital records and the local airport. While not in school, much of Corrine’s younger years was spent staying with her maternal aunt and her family, becoming close to her cousin Katie who was the same age.
Though she grew up with little, Corrine still had a decent life, and her mother did as much as she could for them both. Eventually though, a call from her mother’s childhood friend had the two up and moving to Florida when Corrine turned seven. It was a rather long round trip across the country, including crossing through Canada, but afforded Corrine a chance to see things she had never seen before along the way. While it was rough on her mother, Daniella still tried to make it a fun trip during the week they traveled to St.Augustine. Once they arrived, the two settled into a guest bedroom in Daniella’s friend’s house and Corrine was enrolled in the local elementary school. Unfortunately, making friends didn’t exactly come easy, as Corrine showed herself to be extremely shy especially in unfamiliar surroundings.
But, change soon became common in young Corrine’s life.
In a matter of months, Daniella reconnected with a childhood sweetheart who happened to live in the area. The two dated for a time before deciding to move in together, Corrine included who found the man, named William, had a daughter her age. From then on, much of their life was spent as a blended family, her mom coming to work for the dealership her future stepfather worked at, slowly saving up and building a new life together. The years would come and go, and the small blended family would find themselves moving from place to place across the Southern United States for most of her life. Though, this came mostly due to promotions her father got as well as the instability of the dealership industry. Changes that didn’t necessarily work in Corrine’s favor socially who continued to struggle with social awkwardness as well as trying to fit in.
It wasn’t until halfway through her high school freshman year did the family settle longer than two years. By this time, Corrine was an older sister to two additional siblings, her brother Caleb who was three years younger than her and their sister Sandra, who was five years younger. Though this took time to accept and settle with, Corrine grew a bit more quickly to help with her siblings as well as her sister, Kelsey, helping when she stayed with them. But, high school also meant newer social challenges that Corrine struggled to navigate; she was still quite shy and new, and only had a small circle of friends of whom she actually hung out with. Bullying became her biggest concern, causing a lot of friction between her desire to do well in school and being a social pariah. Something that didn’t change until her senior year when she finally snapped and told her main bully and her cronies off, defending herself for the first time in her life.
Thankfully, her senior year went by swiftly. Before long, Corrine enrolled in a college all the way across the country in Lumen City, a high tech marvel of the modern world where she now pursues her love of Criminology and Cyber Security. Two years later however, life seems to be throwing her another surprise curveball with the arrival of Digimon into the human world, her own turned upside down with the arrival of a Bulucomon whom she has nicknamed Frostbite.
Goals: Primarily to work towards no longer being the quiet outcast if she can help it.
Naturally, Corrine’s most long-term goal is completing her schooling and making a career in the use of Criminology and Cyber Security, especially in a world full of technological advances. Though only a second year college student, she is working hard to get the necessary qualifications for such jobs, and has become curious to what new threats the appearance of Digimon could cause for computer-based concerns in the future.
Perhaps to no surprise, understanding the Digimon phenomenon. More so why some of these mysterious digital creatures form bonds with humans and others do not.
OOC Name: Tundra OOC Pronouns: She/her Other Characters: N/A, yet Preferred Method of Contact: Discord, but PM is fine as well Faceclaim Information:Najma Viper, Twisted Wonderland
Partner Claim: Bulucomon
Name: Frostbite Species: Bulucomon Gender: Female
Personality: Frostbite has only really begun her life upon arriving to the human world and finding her destined human partner. So, her personality is still developing. But what can be said is that she is very much the opposite to her tamer in terms of attitude. Compared to Corrine, she is quite out-going, out-spoken, and has little to not filter on her thoughts or feelings. She speaks her mind and has no qualms stating how she feels towards someone, especially if they give her a bad vibe or make her and her partner uncomfortable. So, don’t hold your breath in that she might come to terms that sometimes her words and actions potentially have consequences. She will just shrug off the warnings.
As trouble prone as this ice dragon digimon can be however, she usually means well and isn’t all bad. Like her tamer, she is compassionate and cares about others, showing a protective side when necessary and sees herself as a good judge of character. Much like her tamer as well, she is observant and curious, usually testing things out with words or physical manipulation if it’s not something she understands. Although sometimes Corrine has to bail her out or she is forced to hide before she gets into too much trouble. Being young also doesn’t help. She is still developing as a Digimon and is slowly making sense of her surroundings.
History: Frostbite didn't have much of a life before coming to the human world. In fact, much of her life was spent in the Digital World's Primary Village where all Digimon are known to start their new life cycles. From a Digimon egg to becoming an in-training Digimon, Frostbite's life was relatively calm and devoid of many problems, all her needs handled by the village's caretakers. But, this would soon change as her cycle of growth occurred during the time technology of the human world triggered strange happenings in the Digital world.
One moment, she found herself outside the village, curiously exploring its outskirts and next...she found herself in a very different, strange place. The Hiyarimon of ice and snow tumbled onto a bed of the unsuspecting college student, startling her from her studying. This would mark a change in both their lives as Corrine's headset became altered to that of a Digivice.
Goals: Try and get her tamer to come out of her shell, she sometimes thinks she’s still too shy for her own good. Though she still ultimately wants to protect and grow with her of course!
Understand the new environment she found herself in since she has only ever known one home, Primary Village.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Corrine and Frostbite look great! Before I turn you loose on the boards there are a couple changes to make. It looks like you might've forgotten to edit some aspects while brainstorming. So let's hop into it! Attacks start at 3, regardless of whether they are Melee or Ranged, before Archetype comes into play. Baby Hail - as currently written has a RAM cost of 5,Cooldown of 1, and a Duration of 0 posts. Durations really only come into play with Status Effects, Support Moves, Shields, or some of the Advanced Techniques. Duration specifically counts for the turn after the first. If you wanted to say have the ice spikes linger on you could make them a Burn for three more RAM, or set them as Trap(Trigger: Contact with spikes) for free. The second way would be good to portray placing ice spikes wherever the ranged attack hit. Ice Mash - is all except Duration should be 0. Ice Skull - this move will only actually cost you 2 RAM! Strong + Base brings you to 4, then Brawler and Recoil drop this to 2. Duration drops to 0. The corrected RAM totals up to the 10 you get for Rookie so you're all set there! Unless you, say, wanted to throw Push (+1 RAM) on Ice Mash or Ice Skull to knock them into some cleverly placed ice spikes. Then you'd need another point of RAM from somewhere. Ghost Edit from tsukistar - as an additional little heads up, Hyarimon's stats add up to 11 rather than 15 - you have 4 more points you could allocate, if you so wish. If you have any questions or this wasn't clear feel free to ask for clarification either here on in DMs (on site or on discord), where ever you feel most comfortable! I'll check back to see if those changes have been made or you can poke me or one of the other Admins. We also typically delete posts like these from completed profiles so it'll look nice and tidy for you later.

Alright! I think I fixed this, I hope. XD I think I keep calculating something wrong somewhere, but definitely let me know for sure.
Also, I thought I added all my points on the stats part, but think I overlooked Hiyarimon. Fixed though!

Sorry for delay, it appears I did not communicate very clearly last time so let me clarify.
Ice Mash - this is currently good!
Baby Hail - Currently you are over with points. Cause Status costs 2 RAM (I mistakenly said 3 in last post, my fault.) and adds 1 post of cool down. That would put you at RAM cost: 7, Cooldown: 2, and Duration 2. You could keep it like this, but you need to find those 2 extra RAM from somewhere else.
You could also return it to how you previously had it, or you could turn it into a Trap that sprays ice spikes on a surface but that feels thematically different from what you want.
Ice Skull - Push increases cost by 1 RAM so you have to find that point somewhere. Currently it should cost RAM Cost: 3
So right now you have Baby Hail at 7 RAM, Ice Mash at 4 RAM, and Ice Skull at 3 RAM. all together that's 14 RAM, so 4 over what you can use!
If my instructions here are confussing feel free to poke me on discord and I can hopefully explain a little better there!
