Personality: There's no way to sugar coat this: Dio's a bit of a self centered jerk, no two ways around it. He believes himself to be the best thing since the invention of bread (which is still but a close second to his own awesomeness), and poor of whoever decides to contradict him about that. It's not that he thinks everyone else is beneath him, he just genuinely believes himself to be worth his weight in gold. That said there's something else in his life he holds in an equally high esteem (though he sure tries his damnest to hide it): his brother Gio. They've been together through good and hard times alike, and if there's something Dio likes more than being the center of attention and having an easy life, it would be seeing his brother happy. Needless to say he's incredibly protective of him, to the point of threatening whoever might have slighted his brother, even in relatively minor ways.
Despite considering himself the brains of the operation, he can be quite rash at times, falling for obvious ruses and making obvious mistakes in the stubborn, single minded search of whatever his mind has hyper fixated on this time. Though this fixation can sometimes be brought forth in more benign ways, as he can be quite a chatty and almost friendly individual if the topic interests him enough and you find him in the right mood.
On that note, Dio himself will admit he has a bit of a hedonistic side, chasing things that bring him and his brother happiness above more pressing, perhaps more important matters, to the point where he'd choose a good enough sandwich over a roof on a rainy day. Still, at the end of the day what he wants is to people to recognize his achievements (few as they might be so far!) or, failing that, having a life worth living along side his brother.
History: Most of Dio's past is as obscured to him as it is to the few people that know him personally. The few things he's fairly certain about is that he and Gio were born somewhere in the darker areas of the Digital World, where Virus types thrive and might makes right. Against all odds however they managed to keep themselves both together and alive despite what could be considered overwhelming odds. Sure they scraped by and got many close calls here and there, but nothing quite ever seemed to be able to break them. Perhaps it was Dio's stubborness, perhaps Gio's unshakeably optimistic outlook, but they survived on that dark corner of the world longer than they had any right to.
Perhaps it was this amount of sheer willpower that got them out eventually. As if their desire and craving for something better pushed them ahead, breaking through the barrier between realities and somehow making their way into a completely different place entirely. One where food was plentiful and the chances of being eaten alive considerably slimmer! This new world with weird, very undigimon like creatures is their new oyster now, they just have to find a way to crack it open.

To become stronger so that he may get the respect and easy life he craves, and to find a worthy place to call their own.

Techniques: Loaded Coin Dio manifests a coin out of thin air, before throwing into the air and firing with pinpoint accuracy at it with a summoned revolver. For whatever reason this seems to be more accurate than simply shooting at his target, making the ensuing bullet be more likely to hit it's intended target. RAM Cost: 2 Type: Ranged Modifiers: Accurate (+1), Blaster (-1) Drawbacks: Weak (-1) Pocket Powder! The Dark Lord reaches into his pocket and brings out the ultimate technique...throwing powder at his enemy. Jokes aside, this special powder quickly burns up and creates a small but noticeable explosion, followed by a smoke cloud that gives him enough breathing room to teleport away a safe distance, though since it's entirely reliant on his reflexes it's nigh impossible for him to escape damage completely. RAM Cost: 2 Type: Escape Drawbacks: Imperfect (-1), Longer Cooldown (-1) Cooldown: 3 posts Dark Shrapnel Dio summons forth a pair of small SMGs, before letting loose a hail of bullets in the general direction of his target. Needless to say, it's not the most accurate of attacks. RAM Cost: 1 Type: Ranged Modifiers: Blaster (-1) Darkness Element Drawbacks: Innacurate (-1) Hell Grenade With a snap of his fingers Dio creates a small sphere of black flames in his hand, before throwing it at his enemy, resulting in a small but powerful explosion. RAM Cost: 1 Type: Ranged Modifiers: Blaster (-1), Strong (+1) Drawbacks: Longer Cooldown (-1), Short Range (-1) Cooldown: 1 post Freikugel After a moment of channeling energy Dio's third eye begins glowing with an unnaturally bright light as he fires off a fully charged shot of dark energy from his recently summoned rifle. He then teleports and does it again. And again. And many more times with such speed (and blatant disregard for physics) it's like he was firing at his target from almost every angle at the same time, and as such can obviously hit more than one target if they're grouped together. Of course because of the strain this amount of effort excerts from his core he's unable to act on his following turn as he needs to stop to take a breather. Gender: Male
Personality: If Dio considers himself to be the brains, then that easily makes Gio the muscle. Which makes sense, considering he clearly has the biggest heart of the two. Despite what his slightly feral look might lead you to believe, Gio is closer to a puppy in both spirit and demeanor than an apex predator. Friendly, curious and unrelentingly nice, he more than makes up for his brother rather harsh exterior and personality to anyone that gets close, and even those that don't! Perhaps it's because of this innocence that he might be a bit on the dimmer side, but he's far from being dumb even if he has a hard time showing otherwise.
He's very open with what he's thinking and feeling, and not shy at all about sharing it with the world, or just even striking up a conversation if possible, if only just to learn a bit more about what's around him.
Of course, despite all this overbearing niceness on display, he's still a survivor at his core, which manifests in a rather interesting way: while digimon thrive and are more tuned for conflict than the average creature, Gio's a bit of a special case in how much he enjoys a good fight, be it a spar or something higher stakes, he can't bring himself to feel down during one, feeling a sense of elation as he finally gets to truly let loose and use all his pent up energy and strenght in a more "productive"(?) way, as long as he gets to fight with someone equal or even stronger than him and his brother. Perhaps it's because of his brother's influence that such a seemingly selfish desire manifested, or maybe he's just craving power for the sake of better protecting himself and Dio, but whatever the reason this excited wild child is more than willing to throw down with whoever's willing.
History: Surprisingly enough, it seems Gio has a slightly better picture of their past than his seemingly more mature and "well adjusted" brother, if only slightly, perhaps due to not his mind always focused on survival as Dio was. What little he remembers is that at some point beforehand, they weren't together, but then they were. Perhaps Dio found him and felt the desire to protect him, maybe it was the other way around, or more than likely they joined for something else entirely. Whatever the case that barely matters now, what mattered was that they been looking out for eachother ever since, and Gio's not in any rush for that to change.
Even now that their scenery changed as much as it did, they certainly didn't change much (besides maybe Dio seeming a bit less on edge). All he cares for now is learning more about this strange new world they've found, and if possible to do so with his brother in tow of course, even if he somehow doesn't care to do so.
Goals: To face stronger foes and to grow in power, so that he might better keep himself and Dio safe.

After a moment of charging Gio lunges forward and attempts to grab the enemy. If succesful he'll deliver two Revolver Hooks in quick succession, finishing with a third, slightly stronger one in the form of an uppercut.
