Similar to pictured, only Sophie wears much more contemporary clothing. She prefers wearing a jacket, shirt, jeans and sneakers for casual wear most of the time. Also while at times she would like to brandish a sword almost as big as she is (5'6"), she doesn't have that.
Personality: Sophie is a somewhat headstrong and determined young woman who is set on making both a good life for herself and a better world for everyone else. Sophie is an extrovert and feels at her best when she's helping others that are in need of help.
Sophie also has a strong sense of justice, and will not hold back if she sees wrongdoing, unless she sees something too much for her to handle personally. In that case she will use the best of her ability to make the situation right, and is not the type to give up easily.
Sophie has a strong protective instinct for her little brother Colin, and she can extend that to others who she sees are at a disadvantage. However, as an elder sibling, she has a tendency to get in a bad mood if she doesn't get her way. She doesn't go as far as throwing tantrums though. It's something that she'll eventually come to terms with.
In regards to digimon, she'll adapt somewhat easily with them, especially when she gets a partner of her own.
History: Sophie was born in the early 2030's as the first child of Nathan and Amanda James. With her father being a professional engineer and her mother being a professional secretary, they moved interstate often with different jobs lasting 1-2 years. Sophie enjoyed this lifestyle growing up, becoming somewhat adaptable to new situations as she moved from school to school and learned how to make friends quickly. However, she didn't really get any experience in gaining long-term friends.
Sophie was delighted when her little brother Colin was born, and did her best to be friendly with him. Of course they had sibling tiffs every so often, but they never went too far in hurting each other. They were well taken care of by their parents and grandparents.
Eventually, the James family settled in Lumen City, in the upper class district of Aurora Towers. There, Sophie finished her last years in high school, excelling in Language, Social Sciences and Theater classes, but found herself somewhat uncertain of what to do next. She settled on having a between year to find the answer, taking up a casual job as a restaurant server to both learn independence and how to balance a budget, but still retains close ties with her family.
Goals: Sophie wants to find her place in life, and to uphold her strong senses of justice and reward for hard work.

Personality: Owen is a particularly friendly digimon that assumes everyone he meets is a good person, unless they do something horrible in front of him, or he hears credible evidence that they've done bad things. He likes to meet new people, and once he decides someone is trustworthy and good, he's pretty much a friend to them for life.
Owen is also particularly physically active, enjoying regular exercise and also encourages his close friends to do the same, but he'll respect their wishes if they choose not to.
Even if when confronted with evil and those that would do terrible deeds, Owen would try his best to convince the wrongdoer to repent and change their ways. However, he is no novice to combat and understands that there are some situations where there is no choice but to fight to the end. While he regrets those instances, he has trained himself to deal with them, learning the ways of combat and survival so that if he comes across such an enemy, he'll do his best so that he isn't the defeated one.
Still though, for the most part, Owen is a friendly and cheerful digimon that assumes the best of everyone he meets, and he also has some dog-like characteristics. He loves being petted, and instinctively trusts anyone who gifts him with food, unless he has a reason to doubt such a gesture.
History: Owen has something of a misty history. The earliest thing he can remember with solidarity was standing in a snowstorm with what he had on his body - a red bandana, a khaki tunic with golden sword-and-wheel symbols on his shoulders, boxing gloves, and a feeling that he had somehow survived something significant, yet he doesn't know what.
Using his survivalist skills, Owen made his way to a cave to shelter from the snow. It was also occupied by a long furred Impmon named Bellamy, who reacted aggressively at first. However, Owen talked him down peacefully and they survived the ordeal, becoming best friends afterwards.
Since then, the two of them travelled around the frozen wastes of their part of the digital world, using each other's skills to get by. Bellamy using his skills with fire and ice magic, while Owen's martial arts and physical might would take precedence when necessary.
Eventually the two of them would end up in the human world for some reason, that Owen wanted very much to find out.
Goals: To find out why digimon are ending up in the human world, what his own history is, and to get as many humans to pet him as possible. ^^

Hammer Cross - Short Range cannot be applied to melee attacks, you'll need to swap it with a different drawback.
