Digivice:A pair of AR gloves, originally meant for interacting with certain holograms - but now able to interact with the digital on a much more in-depth level.
Defining Trait:Kindness; El is a gentle soul who believes in the good in others - when tempers rise, they favor the pacifist approach, preferring to de-escalate whenever they can help it.
Digisoul:El's digisoul is a verdant green that swirls around them, flowing and gentle. It almost looks as though if one could touch it, it would be warm and silky-smooth.
AR Field:The world becomes like that of a classical JRPG - bright, colorful, and medieval, with buildings like that of a village or old-timey city, and with cobblestone roads paving the way. There is often a touch of the fantastic, with magic and magitech elements to it where appropriate - such as streetlamps becoming lanterns with multi-colored flames.
The Homepage takes the form of the interior of something akin to a magical castle or wizard's tower; filled with magic runes that serve as light switches, as teleporters, and the like. The heart of it evokes the image of a roundtable for a group of knights, a large meeting hall with a table at the center. The Digimon who make up their Liberator deck sometimes emerge to wander here.
Appearance:El is a bit on the tall side for their age - standing at 5'3'', with a decent bit of growing to go. Their build is relatively healthy - albeit soft - and they have a somewhat androgynous but masc-leaning appearance outwardly, with their skintone on the fair side. Their hair is dark brown and straight, cut to roughly chin-length, and their round expressive eyes are a soft olive-green.
They tend to favor baggier clothes that are easier to move around. However, they are no stranger to dress-up, enjoying a wide variety of styles and presenting as femme, masc, and anywhere in-between - including in cosplay.
With their disability, they are almost always seen with a cane that they keep in their left hand - which includes a wrist-strap. They often wear their AR gloves - both to protect and support their hand, and to interact with holograms within the city. It is not unusual to see them wearing compression socks and/or a knee brace on their right leg, either.
Personality:El is someone on the softspoken side; hovering somewhere between introvert and extrovert. They don't tend to be a social butterfly, but they are nonetheless friendly and approachable - easygoing enough to give the airs of someone who could befriend an individual, no matter how shy.
They are kind and honest - often to a fault - with a distinct dislike for lying, and often being unable to say 'no' to requests for help or pull themselves away from those in need. It's hard to find a single mean bone in their body, or any sort of temper - few, if any, can recall the last time they've ever truly become angry.
But they are also, unabashedly, a complete nerd. It's not unusual for them to have their face buried into books, or for them to be engrossed in their newest game; they enjoy fantasy and sci-fi genres, as well as online games such as MMOs. They have a distinct curiosity for technology as well - particularly programming. Ask them about these interests, and they are sure to talk your ear off!
History:El - then Elliot - was born to a pair of loving and providing parents, with an attentive older brother named
Isaac, who all lived in a cozy home in California. For much of their early formative years, they never wanted for anything - things were simple, and happy.
It was a shame then, that this couldn't remain the truth forever - that there were problems that ran deep within the family... Things that became more apparent, bit by bit, tensions between their father and brother, and the like - for as much as the family tried to keep things together for El. In truth, they were more perceptive to the tensions than they let on - but they tried their best to believe that things would be okay, in the end.
But even for all of those troubles... El would always still be there for Isaac - and even amidst the bitterness he held for them for a time, they trusted that he'd be there for them in turn. Even when an accident during a game of kickball led to a broken knee that never quite healed right, and led to those tensions only deepening, El was still always there to root for Isaac - and be rooted for in turn.
Divorce papers, a move to Lumen City - these things rocked El's life, for sure. But even as things in Lumen City and the Neoscape become increasingly strange... They're ready to keep a smile on their face for their brother, and reciprocate every bit of love he spends on them.
Goals:- Their AR gloves have been a bit weird as of late; they really ought to figure out what's going on there! And perhaps figure out a bit more about Lumen City at large!
- Family drama, a new home in a city with its own drama... Though they may not express it all that much, it's all a bit rough for a young kid to go through. They do their best to stay positive about it all - but perhaps finding some more stability and support, whatever forms it may take, would do them some good.
- Isaac, no matter what happens, will always be their bestest brother - and no matter what happens, they want to be there for him every step of the way, just like he is for them.
