Toki Akiyama is a kind-hearted young man whose only real goal in life is to improve himself and the lives of others in whatever way he can. An expert martial artist and a gentle spirit, Toki may be the quiet sort, but he's almost supernaturally patient and kind to the people around him. He worries about people who are angry or quick to anger and just wants to know what made them that way as opposed to get annoyed or put off by them. He's very empathetic towards others and wishes to help to the best of his abilities within reason. Though this young civilian may seem unassuming, there's a destiny awaiting him that will soon be unveiled, and those who interact with him may find themselves on a path of intrigue and discovery.

Isaac Sunderland: These two couldn't be more opposite, it feels like. One's driven and aiming for self improvement, one's given up and is listlessly drifting through his life. One presents a gentle face to the world, the other keeps his rough edges bristled out to keep others at a distant. One's patient and kind, the other's impulsive and rash. And yet both of them have a deep well of empathy and concern for others, even if they express it in vastly different ways. Together, they fight crime. Isaac tends to be prickly at first, but Toki doesn't seem the type to do anything that'd keep his hackles raised for two long, so they have a shot at getting along pretty decently. And hey, down the line, maybe some martial arts'd actually help Isaac out. He needs focus, and his combat aptitude tops out at "brawler with more guts than ability."
Amara Saint-Louis: A fellow socially awkward nerd with a fondness for family! Their battle conversation will be legendary! There'd probably need something to tip these two into talking, but I think once they do, they'd have a fairly decent shot at conversing. Just try not to get her started too much, because once the motor mouth warms up, it can take a long while for it to ease back down!
